Grilled Chicken Breast (Fajita)
This is a great grilled chicken breast recipe. You can use it in fajitas, sandwiches, pastas etc.
Ingredients
- 2 lb Chicken Breast
- 2 tsp Seasoned Salt I use Lawry's
- 2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 2 tsp Dry Oregano or Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes Optional
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder Use less for less spicy
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp Vegetable or Canola Oil
- 2 tbsp Honey
Instructions
- Mix all the dry spices
- Add lemon juice, oil and honey and mix together
- In a mixing bowl add the chicken breasts and the marinade. Refrigerate for 2 hours
- Heat the grill until the temperature is 400 F
- Oil the grill with vegetable oil
- Place the chicken breasts on the grill and reduce to heat to half
- Grill covered for 10 mins. Make sure the temperature is not too hot
- Flip the breasts and cook covered for another 10 minutes
- Remove the breasts in a plate and cover with foil for 10 minutes
- Slice the chicken breasts for serving
