Chicken Tikka BBQ
Flavorful BBQ grilled chicken tikka recipe
Ingredients
Spice Marinade
- 2 lbs Chicken Thighs boneless Whole – Don't cut
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 ½ tsp Garam Masala (all spice)
- 1 tsp Chat Masala Alternate Amchoor Powder (dried mango powder)
- ½ tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp heaped Kasoori Methi – Dried Fenugreek Leaves
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Additional Ingredients
- ½ cup Greek Yogurt
- 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
- 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
- 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
Instructions
- Mix all the spices in a bowl
- Mix the chicken and all the ingredients in the spice marinade
- Let it stand for 20 minutes
- Add all the remaining ingredients and marinade for 2 hours
- Heat the BBQ grill to 400℉. Every grill is different, use your own judgement
- Oil the grates with cooking oil. Place the chicken onto the grill.
- Cook 10 mins on each side. Check the internal temperature to be 165℉ before serving
